Apocalypse Island tells the story of an apocalyptic cult hidden in the marshes of the South USA. Led by a charismatic Pastor, the manipulations to keep the Mission in line unravel as a group of cult members discover the truth behind the only life they have known.

I had first envisioned this story as a play, but after discussing it with my mom for months, she said, "I think we should make this into a movie. I want to produce it." It was the first movie either of us had ever made, but the collaboration was one hell of a learning experience.

I wrote this script when I was twenty-four, and in all honesty, I think you can tell. But I am proud of the work everyone put into this movie. I hope to one day revisit this story and develop it into a novel.
